As the Director of Landscape Architecture for NYC Parks, Dave was responsible for all Capital design work within Freshkills Park.

Freshkills is one of the largest parks in the New York City Parks system and was one of the largest landfills in the country. The conversion of the landfill to parkland is a multi-decade process and will provide active and passive recreation, as well as rich grassland and wetland ecosystems.
